Family Events
Family events are structured around the interests and abilities of
people of different ages. Even young children can help out at many events
but other activities may be unsuitable for the young. For example, a
beach cleanup may be very appropriate for young children while tree
trimming is not. In addition, many Network members hold educational
events for youth. For example, the Back
Country Land Trust has an education program that serves approximately
200-300 students each school year through art, science, math, and alternative
learning programs. Check each member's website
for more details on particular events.
